What is Robal?

Robal is a technology company on a mission to simplify the talent onboarding process. We’re the smarter way for employees to gather all their onboarding documents quickly and efficiently, helping employers find the talent they need faster.

What is a Roballer?

A Roballer is an associate of a company who utilizes Robal for their onboarding needs. 

Is Robal available where I live? 

Robal is available throughout the United States.

What is two-factor?

Two-factor authentication is a security measure to help keep your profile safe from others accessing your information. 

What is an I-9 form?

Form I-9 is used to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.

What is an I-9 ID?

You can see a complete list of acceptable I9 ID’s by going to this link

For I-9’s you need to submit a form of ID from list A or you can submit a form of ID from List B, and List C. 

Most commonly people submit a picture of their ID or Driver’s License along with their Social Security Card or Birth Certificate. Or if you have a passport, you can submit a picture of that and nothing else. 

What is a W-2 form?

A W-2 form contains income and tax information.

How do I upload a document?

To upload a document, select the desired folder in the backpack. Select add and then the green upload button. Select the desired documentation and save changes. 

Where are my documents stored?

Documents are stored in your individual “backpack,” which is encrypted to provide security, so only the people who should see them can see them. At Robal we are committed to protecting your privacy.

Why do I need to upload my ID?

Your ID is used to verify your identity for the form I-9

I don’t have two forms of ID, what do I do?

If you do not have two forms of ID that are required to complete the company’s onboarding process, please talk to the HR administrator of the company you are completing onboarding for. A list of acceptable documents is provided when filling out the I-9 Form during onboarding.

Do I need a resume to sign up?

A resume is a great tool to have when applying for jobs, but it is not required to sign up with Robal. 

How do I change my password?

When you are on the log-in page, hit “Forgot Password” and you will receive an email that is associated with your account. The email will have instructions on how to reset your password. 

How can I edit my profile information?

To edit a profile, select “Profile” in the top-right corner, make the necessary changes and select submit. 

How do I change my profile picture/ logo picture?

To change a photo select your profile, then select profile avatar/ logo and choose your desired photo and select submit.

How can I make a referral?

When you first sign up with Robal, you will be given a unique referral code. You can share that code with anyone you refer to Robal. When they sign up with Robal, you will earn referral credits.

I’m having tech issues, what do I do?

You can put in a support ticket, and someone will be able to help resolve your issue within 24 business hours. Or if it’s between the hours of 9am and 5pm EST you can start a chat and one of our agents can assist you. 

I’m having trouble receiving my verification code, what do I do?

Check that your mobile device can receive SMS. If the error continues, contact Robal for help.

How do I get started?

If you would like to sign up and do not have a company code, no worries, you can still create an account and become a Roballer.

How do I get paid?

Robal has partnered with Branch App. If you elect to be paid through Branch, an account will automatically be created for you and all you need to do is download the Branch app to access your funds. You can order a Debit card through the app or you can transfer your money to another banking institute. 

When do I get paid?

Pay dates vary based on the company you are working for. To learn more about when you’re paid, please ask the company you are onboarding with. 

What is my backpack and how do I access it?

The backpack stores all a Roballer’s information and documents. To access the backpack, select the backpack feature on the left-hand side of the Dashboard.

What is a badge and how do I upload the correct documentation for one?

A badge is something you can earn by uploading the correct documentation. Employers can view badges and may require them in the hiring process. To upload the documentation, select the Badges folder and select add. Then under the status list, select documents and add the correct documentation.

What is a badge icon, and which one should I select?

A badge icon is an image that represents a badge name. Select the icon image that best represents the badge name and requirements.

Are employees’ backgrounds checked?

Yes, employees can go through a background check if required. Please talk to your HR admin for more specifics on their background check policy. 

How can I hire a Roballer?

To get a Roballer started with onboarding, you will need to send them a link with your company code. Once they enter their information and create a password, they will be able to begin your company’s onboarding documents.

What are the fees to use Robal?

Talk to one of our sales reps to learn more about the different pricing packages that best fit your company’s needs. 

What is the cancellation policy?

A Roballer can disable their Robal account at anytime with no penalty. 

Company: Please review the terms of your agreement with Robal Tech, LLC to understand how to cancel your account.

My company doesn’t have an office address, what should I put?

Use the address listed on the W-9 form or the address used when creating your entity.

What is the difference between division and location?

Divisions are sectors of a business. Location is the physical address of the company or division. 

What is my EIN?

An employer identification number can be found on previous filed returns or by contacting the IRS.

What do I do if my password is expired?

What happens with my personal information?
Is my account secure?

Accounts are secure through passwords and two-factor authentication. 

Are my documents secure?

Documents are secured using encryption with our cloud platform.
